Abstract: One of the primary goals of Root Canal Treatment is either complete eradication of microorganisms or at least reducing the microbial load to a limit that allows entombment of microbes and allowing immune system to promote healing.
Using Intracanal medicaments is one of the methods recommended to further eradicate microorganisms after chemo-mechanical preparation or immunomodulate the immune system promoting healing in various clinical scenarios.
Different intracanal medicaments have been used in endodontics , but until today some authors are in favor of using them and others are against , opening the way to question the reason each of these authors have to support their point of view.
Objectives: 1-Know the indications for Intracanal medicaments
2-Have the Knowledge to correctly choose the most suitable Intracanal medicament for each clinical scenario
3-Knowing the pros and cons of most famous intracanal medicaments
