Dr. Tarek is a specialist restorative and esthetic dentistry. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, He continued his postgraduate studies and earned his Master’s degree in the field of conservative and esthetic dentistry from Cairo University. He then pursued his PhD at Cairo University and earned his certification in the same specialty. He currently works as a Staff Member at the Restorative Dentistry Department at Misr International University. His clinical practice is based in Cairo where he resides and is dedicated to adhesive restorative dentistry utilizing all modern technologies and approaches to deliver high quality dental treatments.
Dr. Tarek is also an International Speaker in the Field of Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry and a visiting lecturer in many private and public universities both within and outside Egypt. He serves as a Restorative Instructor in many national and international courses, particularly, in the Middle East and Europe. He was a Former Visiting Lecturer at University of Dundee Restorative Master Program in Egypt. In addition, he is Key opinion leader and Scientific Speaker for several international companies, and is also one of the global restorative experts in Dental XP community.
Dr Tarek’s academic interests lie in research, and he works with many groups in different universities all over the globe in the field of restorative and preventive dentistry. He is passionate about developing new restorative techniques that make practicing restorative dentistry easier and more predictable for clinicians, in collaboration with many international companies. One of his recent achievements is the development of the Simplified Stratification Technique, a layering technique for direct composite restorations, that was recently published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry.
